Business Services

We provide various services for our small business clients, from monthly accounting preparation as well as payroll and tax planning.  We have been using the Quick Books accounting software platform to assist our clients in achieving their goals. We also have some other 3rd party payroll options which allow you to concentrate on your business, which is what you do best!  We also utilize a tax preparation software system that allows us to file your tax returns for all 50 states along with your federal return electronically.

Tax Dates

Business Tax returns Corporate form 1020,  S-Corp 1020S and Partnership 1065’s are normally due by March 15.

Your Personal 1040 Tax returns are normally due by April 15.

For 2021 the tax deadlines have been extended to May 17.

If you are planning on filing an extension please note you are required to include your tax obligation with the extension.  If you do not owe any taxes, but may be entitled to a refund, you are not required to actually file by May 17th.


Estimated Tax Payments

Hypothetically, if have a tax liability which is say $1,000 or more for the year, you are expected to make estimated tax payments in the year ahead expecting that you will owe again.

Estimated Tax Deposit – Deadlines for 2021

  • January 1 — March 31: Due April 15
  • April 1 — May 31: Due June 15
  • June 1 — August 31: Due September 15
  • September 1 — December 31: Due January 15 (of the following year)

If you owe more than $1,000 in taxes, it is recommended to have more taxes withheld from from your paychecks, or pay the estimated taxes according to schedule above to avoid future penalties.
